Important Details About the Workshop

Raku Workshop (In Person) with Wes French


Date: Saturday, November 21st

Time: 10:00AM- 12:00PM

Ages: 18+


Description: Bring your bisqueware with grog and join us for an exciting Raku workshop! Glazes included! Raku is an ancient Japanese technique that dates back to the 16th century. The ceramic pieces are then placed into a kiln, fired for about 40 to 50 minutes, and then while still hot, the piece is then placed in a combustible material such as sawdust or newspaper. As the piece cools, the variety of colors on the pieces starts to show.Each ceramic piece is truly one of a kind! Intermediate level required.


Logistics:

Persons must be 6 ft apart at all times and wear a mask, 3 pieces and B-mix with Grog)

Member - $70

Non-Member Price - $80

Class Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy:


There are no exceptions to the Class Withdrawal Policy. You may withdraw from a class up to 7 days prior to the beginning of the first class to receive a full refund. Six to one day prior you will receive a half refund. If you withdraw from the class with less than one day before the class start date no refunds will be given.


There is a minimum enrollment for all Lux programs. If this enrollment is not fulfilled, participants will be notified one week prior to the program start date and refunds or credits will be applied.


No Make Up-Dates:

There are no make up classes for missed lessons due to illness or scheduling conflicts.


Covid-19 Policy:

I understand that I must wear a face mask for the duration of my visit.
