Summer Art Painting Techniques Studio Ages: 11-13 (In-Person)

A variety of media will be taught during our in-person camps, following all CDC guidelines, social distancing in the garden.


Teens and pre-teens will be invited to explore art through a variety of techniques. Led by an established teaching artist, participants will learn and experiment with different mediums in a fun and memorable environment. It is a hands-on studio: from drawing to painting, to collage and mixed media. No experience required. All levels of proficiency encouraged to register. 12 students per week. Materials provided.

Summer Art Ceramics Studio Ages: 11-13 (In-Person)

A variety of media will be taught during our in-person camps, following all CDC guidelines, social distancing in the garden.


Teens and pre-teens will be led through all of the basics of working with ceramics, both with hand-building and wheel throwing. This week long camp will teach the entire process-- from blocks of clay to finished, fired pieces. Students are taught traditional methods, but are encouraged to come up with their own methods to produce tableware and sculptures. Materials are included.

Waitlist - Art for Kids (In-Person)

Kids will be led to learn diverse techniques, ranging from painting to drawing to 3D art, and experience different modes of expression. Students will be exposed to various artists and art historical trends each week while experimenting with their own innovative and playful ways to use watercolor, acrylic paint, and screen printing in both 2-D and 3-D designs.
