WAITLIST - Summer Art Ceramics Studio 2021 (In-person)
Ages: 11-13
Teens and pre-teens will be led through all of the basics of working with ceramics, both with hand-building and wheel throwing. This week long camp will teach the entire process-- from blocks of clay to finished, fired pieces. Students are taught traditional methods, but are encouraged to come up with their own methods to produce tableware and sculptures. Materials are included.
A variety of media will be taught during our in-person camps, following all CDC guidelines, social distancing in the garden .
Space is limited.

For working parents, our extended care is more than just a childcare option. It's an hour of fun art activities led by creative, enthusiastic and empathetic staffers. (1:00pm-2:00pm, M-F)
Price for Aftercare: $90
Requirements for Class:
Masks must be worn the whole class period and social distancing will be implemented. 8 students per ceramics camp.
Bottle of water, a small snack and comfortable cloths that can get dirty.

Class Terms & Conditions
Cancellation Policy:
There are no exceptions to the Class Withdrawal Policy. You may withdraw from a class up to 7 days prior to the beginning of the first class to receive a full refund. Six to one day prior you will receive a half refund. If you withdraw from the class with less than one day before the class start date no refunds will be given.
There is a minimum enrollment for all Lux programs. If this enrollment is not fulfilled, participants will be notified one week prior to the program start date and refunds or credits will be applied.
No Make Up-Dates:
There are no make up classes for missed lessons due to illness or scheduling conflicts.
Behavior:
Campers have the responsibility to conduct themselves in a manner that is best for the camp program, its fellow campers, and its employees. Parents will be contacted at the end of camp depending on the time and severity of the incident.
Covid-19 Policy:

In this 3-day camp, kids will learn a variety of styles and techniques in art making. These dynamic camps will be led by professional artists whose goal is to invite their students to learn and think creatively. Plenty of space for social distancing and limited to 12 kids in each group. Materials included.
