Half Day Fall Camp


Dates: Monday - Wednesday 12:00PM -2:00PM

November 23rd - 25th

Ages: 11-15


In this 3-day camp, kids will learn a variety of styles and techniques in art making. These dynamic camps will be led by professional artists whose goal is to invite their students to learn and think creatively. Plenty of space for social distancing and limited to 10 kids in each group. Materials included.


Requirements for Class


Masks must to be worn the whole class period and social distancing will be implemented



Teaching Artist Bio

Jorge Mujica is a teaching artist who’s focused on building reciprocal relationships with students. His class are designed to scaffold meeting after meeting and the effort underlining his pedagogy is to instill in students the willingness to fail and gain insight through repetition.


Mujica has exhibited in International art fairs Qipo Art Fair (Mexico City) Copyright (Berlin, Germany), and has a public sculpture at the Museum of Latin American Art (Long Beach.) He completed a MFA in Painting from Yale University, a MA in Visual & Critical Studies from the Art Institute of Chicago and holds BA’s in Political Science and Art History from Cal State Bakersfield.

Class Terms & Conditions

Cancellation Policy:


There are no exceptions to the Class Withdrawal Policy. You may withdraw from a class up to 7 days prior to the beginning of the first class to receive a full refund. Six to one day prior you will receive a half refund. If you withdraw from the class with less than one day before the class start date no refunds will be given.


There is a minimum enrollment for all Lux programs. If this enrollment is not fulfilled, participants will be notified one week prior to the program start date and refunds or credits will be applied.


No Make Up-Dates:

There are no make up classes for missed lessons due to illness or scheduling conflicts.


Covid-19 Policy:

I understand that I must wear a face mask for the duration of my visit.
